Want to Improve?
After learning to solve the cube fore your first time, I'm sure you'd like to get faster, right? You should first start out by timing yourself whenever you can. I personally love using csTimer when I'm on the computer and ChaoTimer when I'm on my phone. If you want to get faster, you need to find out your base time, which can be found by looking at your averages.
Assuming you are using Rubik's method, or the one posted here, you should next begin learning the two-look OLL algorithms. After you memorize those, start to learn F2L with the Keyhole method. Finally, once you've learned both of those, you should learn all the PLL algorithms.
Think you're fast enough? Check the CubingUSA page for updates on competitions you can attend.
